Savannah's stately homes and historical buildings are perfect locations to shoot historical theme movies. Actor/Director, Robert Redford has shot two movies in Savannah: "Legend of Beggar Vance" in 2000 and most recently in 2010 for "The Conspirator". Robert Redford chose Savannah to be Washington D.C. circa 1865 in this Civil War era movie. The prison scenes in the movie were filmed at Fort Pulaski.
For movies like The Conspirator, The Savannah Film Office provides a one-stop-shop and talent source for producers interested in filming in Savannah. The Savannah Film Office is an office of the City of Savannah. There is also a Savannah Film Commission. Since 1995, they have recruited and coordinated all types of media production in the Savannah area. This includes permitting, on-location assistance, and film coordination. The Commission also works to connect producers with local crews and services. Savannah Film Commission is an advisory board appointed by the mayor and aldermen of the City of Savannah.
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presents an annual festival, filled with cinematic creativity from award-winning fashion designers, professionals and emerging student filmmakers. Each year more than 40,000 people attend the eight day Savannah Film Festival. Savannah makes the perfect backdrop for many SCAD projects, and not only student films, but fashion photography and fashion design. Tucker MarCom supports the arts, and when possible, works with SCAD student producers and photographers as a Savannah talent source to provide savannah talent.

This is a collection of independent retailers promoting fashion and beauty in the Savannah area with a special series of events focusing on the unique styles of all the participating retailers. Savannah retailers and event organizers call upon our Talent Division as their talent source for fashion models for promotions and fashion runway shows. Tucker was proud to walk for the Lexibec Jewelry Show and fab'rik White Collection.
Fashion's Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry's economy during the recession. In 2012, FNO returned to New York City and over 100 cities nationwide to highlight fashion and support retail with exciting events that include designer appearances, celebrity guests, fashion shows and musical performances. Tucker MarCom is a sponsor and provided models for the event.
